They need finishing. Make 'em look more like the new Boxster or Q5 taillights and I'm sold. Saw these yesterday morning and they just stood out so nicely against the sea of incandescent-bulb'd taillights out there.

These tails are so hideous in normal lighting. The red dot lights behind the bar are just tacky in comparison. The whole package just needs more time to bake. It needs to look good in the day and the night.

Reminds me of the hideous neon license frames from the 90's.

I've been waiting for sema to see what I can replace the ugly stock tails with and if this is it then I'm highly dissapointed.

true, refining them and they would get it right on.
no led bulbs out of place
no milk jug plastic
maybe redout like the audi's

or perhaps led lighting like the rear of the new genesis coupe and then we're sold

I'm looking fwd to aftermarket headlights than taillights myself. If they can make a cheaper gt86 or brz headlights than i cab swap with hid, I'll be all over that.

These look a bit too much for taillights. I would like it to be more subtle.

Tap'd from my G-Nex

yikes.... the more I see the more I cringe... If someone was on their A game they would be modding stock tails to either black or body paint colors. The shape of the light isn't bad nor the circle LED's, just the chrometastic backing... Now on the hunt for a junkyard set I can cut an have painted/vinyled from the inside.

If someone made an FR-S taillight that looked just like this (but in the FR-S shape of course) I'd be just like this:

Thanks for finding that Zadkiel...usually Spyder Auto offers more than one variation, so I hope they come up with a plain redout tail option...

IMHO, these look 100 times better than the TYC tail light...but still not my cup of tea.

I love the stock taillights but if these lights keep out condensation, they're better already.

Someone used the anology of it looking like glowstick ends. I think that's the best way to describe it. Hopefully they're listening somehow and hopefully they do modify it and release a redded version or a blacked out version. For $950 they should.

I think the TYC tails are a lot cheaper for the same overall look. They're interesting designs, it's just that the materials seem very cheap overall.
