RKC.. are you experiencing any fitment or rubbing issues that others have mentioned with the piping of the exhaust touches the (dont know if this is the right name) cross-members or joints of the suspension under the car? if so have you corrected this and how?

i purchased some extended kartboy.com exhaust hangers just in case with NLM installs it in case i have the issue.

Also with the eibach prokit... any scraping of the exhaust at all over speed bumps or drive ways etc?

thanks

Speaking of exhaust hangers like @mikeg7827 mentioned..what kind has everyone been using with their Evo 3 installs?

12mm's?

I bought some kartboy's (12mm i think) from Circuit Motorsports for my new install when it comes in ..but just wanted to know what people are using too.

I am not a technical guy so I am taking my car in on Monday to see if we can resolve the rattling issue. I do believe the exhaust is hitting somewhere causing the rattle. I can hear it at very low speeds, then it goes away. My girlfriend isn't too happy about how loud it is... but im okay with that!

I already pointed out where the rattle is coming from. As far as the drone, I tried recording it in my videos, you can't really capture it well (at least I couldn't, maybe someone with higher end audio/video equipment could).

For people still wondering how it sounds check out the new Dsport. They tested out many of the exhaust out right now. Also have we codes linking to pics and sound video.

Just saw your question about the Pro-Kit... I haven't experienced any scraping at all. The drop is perfect and i am loving the way the car feels.

Do yourself a favor and take out the silencers first. Put them in only if you can't stomach the sound. In particular, test highway driving at 3 to 4k rpm to determine if you discern a drone.

Love the sound on mine, hate the drone, and don't really like using the silencers.

I'm on the fence as to wether or not I swap mine for a Perrin.

Glad you didn't put the silencers in first - it sounds so much better without them.

How do you feel about the 3-4K drone? The Evo3 is an interesting exhaust, it gets quieter again after that range.

Yeah I didn't want the silencers in I've always had silencers off on my cars. I kind of hear it but it mixes in with the greddy intake cabin sound. It doesn't bother me at all because my Sentra Spec-V was MUCH worse. Besides it makes me feel like I'm in a sportscar more and more now lol. But it does get quieter the higher you go.

I really like it and I'm glad I waited out for this exhaust

I've found myself blipping the throttle for no good reason other than to hear the roar. As a result, my fuel economy is down to like 21 MPG. LOL
