Has anyone ever driven in Germany? I have and I'll tell you that they are much better drivers. They have great lane discipline. They signal turns and lane changes. They do not pass on the right. They just taking driving seriously in general. Of course there are always exceptions to every rule, but I'm just generalizing. I wish American drivers had a clue on how they should drive.
It's called discipline. Germans love it. Americans not so much.

Yeah, it's morons like that who force you to pass on the right. I mean, maybe you don't have to pass on the right, but then again who wants to follow behind some jackass who's doing nothing but clogging up the passing lane in the first place. I see that kinda crap every day.

I heard that blinkers were expensive options on cars in MD, so I guess there are a lot of cheap car buyers here because no one uses them in this state...

I didn't learn to drive here...lol

I use my blinker to indicate the direction I'm counter steering.

That is a huge problem with florida drivers, they get in the fast lane and go below the speed limit, even when they see you coming they dont merge they just think they own the damn lane and you gotta move.

Majority of accidents could be prevented if drivers wern't so damn stupid!!

Here in NY work vans and prius' like to drive in the left lane doing five under. They've got a queue of cars behind them and no one in front of them but it's like they'd sooner lose a kidney then get out of the left lane.

I like to ride around with my panic button on, with all my flashers flashing, no one can predict what I'll do next.

On another note, i did get run of the road twice while driving up and down Dale Mabry here in Tampa picking up some krabstick(yes with a k) for my work. Both 55+, driving big SUVs, and came across from the right lane to make leg turns. When i got back to work, i was read to kill... Once in the way, once in the way back.

It took me one month driving in philly to learn how to be a city driver. It takes more concentration and some brass balls help. Cars parked in the street while people run into a store (check parking wars and you'll see what i mean), hipster cyclists thinking they have the right of way, jaywalkers, and my favorite college kids listening to that darn rock and roll. I'll gladly give the right-of way to the person who looks and waits. I want to hit the person who walks across cause state law says on a college campus pedestrians have the right of way. I'm pretty sure my 3000 pound car will win that battle

First of all, you can find that anywhere. Secondly, pedestrians alway have the right of way haha

I've seen to many stories of police deptartments getting sued for hitting pedestrians while in pursuit. Whitehall had a lawsuit similar a few years back family settled for a lump sum of cash. Just cause you have a right away doesnt mean that 1 ton car wont hit and kill you. Everyone should look, listen and be more aware is all I'm trying to say.

I don't think anyone in Florida uses their directionals ever! As for driving, I am from southern NH originally, and I can say that Mass drivers are pretty damn bad as well. Charleston, SC however is the only place I've seen multiple car pile ups on a 80* clear sunny day! lol

You've nailed it. In Germany getting a license involves many weeks of expensive driver's ed followed by a rigorous written and driving exam, and driving well is a matter of personal pride.

I love it when they are 3/4 of the way in making their lane change/turn and then quick flash it once. It's just as annoying as someone who never does.
