When I was living in the suburbs near a bigger city, people would drive by with their system up high enough that you could actually hear things rattle in the windows and on the tables in my house. Since then I've had a bit of animosity toward the whole gigantic-system set. But if you're reasonably responsible with it I suppose I could give you a free pass in the court of my judgement? lol.
Yeah I'm only pushing them with a single 150W amp on mono. It's plenty loud inside, but you can't hear me more than 10ft away with the windows up. I've had louder systems in the past and my hearing has paid for it.

Oh yeah, and I don't have much trunk room left, LOL.

*edit: never understood the whole "i love haters" thing... are you trying to discourage flaming? Are you trying to go religious and love your enemies? doesn't make sense...

I really just don't care, the fact that someone takes whatever it is I have done so personally that they form a strong opinion, just means I achieved my goal. not everything is intended for everyone, some love some hate, it's better to have haters than to have a vanilla attitude towards life where you never stir any emotions.

just like ricers, they do things to garner attention, whether you hate it or love it they got what was intended, Attention. just like children that only receive negative reinforcement, attention is attention, if you quit caring if it is love or hate life gets easier. I learned long ago that making choices based on what is popular or what gets you the most attention is a shitty way to go through life, because you can never lead, you have to follow,,,because you are trying to fit in...if you just go off and do what you will and make decisions to satisfy yourself, you will find yourself in good (or atleast similarly minded) company, if your taste is a bit ricey...go all out you will get along great with the company you attract.

The real problem (with racism and ricism) is that the subject (??target??) can assess your opinion and take offense to it.

for instance...i am a cracker A$$ cracker...a ginger if you will...and in hawaii i was a haole, got stomped good for it plenty of times, do i take offense to being called white, cracker, honkey, haole, ginger? well no...what's the point it wasn't a choice...that's like taking offense because someone noticed your shoe was untied...and it's not because i haven't been the subject of hate crimes. bottom line is we all get to choose how something makes us feel, i am not willing to let words on a screen offend me

I'm on the visually vanilla side of modding. My druthers is to keep a car completely sleeper outside and a demon under the skin, if I mod at all. Handling > power > looks for me; I don't race on proper tracks much but do need to get out of the way of a soccer mom in her F350 in traffic. The exception for me is sound, though my preference there is for quality vs. the bumps.

My other consideration is how the car ages. If I bought it and kept it, is the classic market in 25 years going to want my tuning preferences or a stock well-kept example? I think the car's pretty hot as-is, so I don't see myself modding much when I eventually pick it up.

That said, 5 Axis' body kit does look sweet.

Also,

If you have to ask, then you are probably contemplating violating some aspect of ricedom. Expect the rice gestapo to come out and hand you a beatdown.

My definition of rice: Addition of objects on to an otherwise stock car to alter appearance that may not appeal to the majority and offers no improvement on drivability or detracts from it.
