You're right, brain fart on my part.

Cool, but this conversation is more about a person who feels afraid of the car spinning wildly out of control in rain and snow, rather than someone who just prefers to have a garage queen.

You are missing out big time! I've been driving in heavy snow, slush and ice for the past week with good snow tires and it's the funnest I've ever had behind the wheel of a vehicle. Every parking lot I see after midnight turns into a drift circuit.

Yeah, OK. Good Luck.
But he is missing Big Time with only 600 in mileage in THREE months. It would be better to buy a bicycle, albeit, a GOOD one).

"Proud owner"? The people that are REALLY proud are those who were responsible for designing and building the car..

Never got the whole hiding the car away with bad weather thing. If I want to keep the car in mint condition then ill never track it, show it rain or snow or drive too aggressively. That seems like missing the point of owning this car. Besides my deep snow car is a lr3 and I'm not sure i could be driving around in that knowing the car that gets huge stares, amazing to drive and draws crowds is locked away.

Yeah I just switched all my tires to all seasons for the past 3 years. Don't want to worry about uneven wear on separate tires.

Hi folks,
I Put the BRZ in the garage cause of the hurricane coming in(North east), more scared of falling trees etc... As far as driving in wet/winter, when I grew up, with Very few exceptions, All were RWD, sometimes "peg leg" as we called them, (Non LSD). It just takes getting used to. I will not intentionally drive the BRZ in the snow, that's just plain irresponsible when I have other Subies to pick from. I will drive it during the winter, weather permitting. Just my 2 cents.

As the BRZ and motorcycle are my only vehicles, yeah, BRZ will be driven all winter long. If I can do three years with just a motorcycle I think I'll be just fine driving the BRZ in the winter. Im going to use some nice sealant and wax to protect the paint and stuff though, never hurts to throw a little extra elbow grease on things to prepare.
