Cool beans.

I also bumped just to say how awesome the lines on this car are, every time I see it pictured(noticed your sig)...why can't Honda design anything like this?

Update: Picked the car up today, idles much smoother so far, only put about 20 miles on it so far. Only thing I was really unhappy with was the fact that the car has 40 more miles on it than when I dropped it off, does that seem excessive?

It doesn't seem excessive to me. For me, I would much rather they drove the car than having it idle at the dealership and then telling me everything was okay.

Yea, I thought about this too, the first time they only test drove it for 5 miles and the CEL ended up coming back when I went to pick it up, I guess better to be sure its fixed. So far so good after about 25-30 miles!

Sweet! Probably just told you three weeks at first to cover their ass, at least it wasn't down for that long!

I filled out my survey from Scion as to how the Service department handled my service appointment, tried not to hammer the dealership too bad as it was mainly Toyota taking so long to respond to the case and then taking another week to get the ECU in. My only gripe with my dealer was the rental..... f***ing Cursa..... I posted the link to this thread in the comment section several times so that if they really give a shit and read the responses on the survey they can get the whole story if they want, other than that I'll just leave it be as long as my car doesn't start throwing CELs again.

Thats exactly what i thought, it really isnt the dealer's fault as they were ready to fix the part, its headquarters that really sucks. as long as i get my car back and not have a problem im a happy camper

Hey bud, I know this is ancient, but did the new ECU resolve your issue for sure?

Also, do you have any video of what the car was doing with the P0019 code?

Can't believe I'm replying to such an old thread. Anyway, my stock 2018 tS just threw P0019 code after having intermittent rough idle for a while. I have less than 24K miles on this car. Off to the dealership I go.
