You will never be able to quantify this on a race track. You wont feel the difference this extra weight (which is minimal considering the whole weight of the car) will add to the top of the engine. So it is a non issue.

Just drop the car an inch to make up for it.

If you are that worried about that kind of weight in this car, you should have bought an elise anyway.

Thank you Innovate... thank you for making it blend! The silver one Bullet had under the hood did not fit the car. This looks awesome!

This looks to be the Sprintex that weighs 9.3 kg with standard pulley (20 pounds). Just go on a diet lol.

Yup!

It is good looking though, black looks way better than the stock sprintex look. Damn there are some good options coming up. I hope Innovate crosses the crucial 200 mark with torque. I don't recall seeing any numbers for the bullet version.

What about the bulk (if not all) of the weight of the centri (Vortech) systems being mounted ahead of the front wheels...just sayin'.

All u guys -talking crap about the 25 lbs this thing
Will add- need to stop it because unless u r removing
Rear seats, moving batteries, taking off A/C and basically
Gutting this car to be an all track car, you are just talking
Crap!

I bet u r all the same people adding 19" wheels and
Slamming the freaking car thus ruining the handling
For poser purposes.

Some of u guys complaining about crap like
This couldnt even take a good turn at a track
to save your lives.

dude you sounds like you needs a bong hit...chill out its a car forum.
breathe in

now out

cool...

back to the argument, no, not all turbos make power down low, and not all superchargers make power only up top, tho, in general, both, in their single impeller incantations, tend to favor a 'sweet spot'
there is a difference in throttle response. TQ down low is great for certain applications. in others, some folks ware wanting that TQ and HP to max at the melt at some point up top for that straightline grunt. There really is enough power down low to turn the car. there isnt enough to not get eaten on the straights. after winding out 2nd gear, I want more power up top, please, linear and prompt like.

as for CG and a turbo/blower-really? most of our heads weigh more than said hardware, and we seem to be driving fine with that useless junk in the car located high up
