Honestly I dont think they will fit with the Essex kit! I tried the template agaisnt my 17x9 +35 RPF1 (I believe they're the same face, just a different mounting pad) and It looked like they would just barely touch (I think a 3mm would clear it but may not provide enough clearance under stress) If possible, have a couple of spacers laying around to test fit. |

the 8" wide RPF1's have a curved face that results in quite a bit of brake clearance, while the 9's have the flat face which looks much nicer, but offers less brake clearance. The difference in offset between a 17x8 +35 and +45 is just the amount of material where the wheel mounts on to the hub, and I believe the same is true of the 17x9. This means the +45 will be 10mm closer to the brakes than the +35.
Here is an image of the 17x9 +45 in 5x114 and as you can tell, there is very little change between the pad that mounts to the hub and the spokes.

The WEDS TC105N looks like it will clear, the Mach V awesome (17x9+42) is known to clear as well.
The 17x9 +35 RPF1 will need a 3-5mm spacer to clear the sprint kit. |

I know you are returning them but how do they fit in regards to everything else (like the fender)?

They'll fit the fender just fine. The issue with them is brake clearance.

My car is completely stock next to the rims/tires. Im running RPF1s 17x9+45 with Mich Pilot Super Sports 245/40R17 The Clearence on the front is MICRO. I have LESS THEN 1mm to the front springs with no actual rubbing through entire motion. I did NOT have to adjust camber or anything, just put them on and go. The issue is the super sports' very thick sidewall to protect the rim. They make the fit look hella flush even though is the proper size for the rims. I wont be able to fit the 255s like I wanted without switching tire brands and going with a 3mm spacer on the front. On to the pictures. Rear ![]() Front meat! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You can actually see how much wider the tires are under the car, its awesome. the fronts stick out prob 3 to 5 mm at the rim and maybe only 1 to 2 by the tread edge, rear is still under wheel well, but really close
