So where are people taking their cars for rustproofing? What is the preferred location?

do they only spray into the doors and quarter panels? How about coating the underside of the car, and how does it work with all of our underbody paneling, do they take those off?

also why do they drill from the door side, why not drill from inside the trunk area?

Not all the rust proof shop drill holes on the car. Normally they will ask before they do it. And it's not a good idea in my POV to put holes on it. My previous car have a few holes (doors, truck engine bay) after rust proof and it's not really a big deal. But some people including me don't like it at all. So I got my current car to another rust proof shop and they don't put holes on the car at all. That's what the owner suggest to me. I sit there for about 3 hours and watch how they did it. They did take off some panels (doors, truck) and all the tires in order to spray it inside. That's impressive procedure according to what I saw. And of course it require a day for the rust proof to cure similar to the opti-coat.

I have heard many people with plans on modding their FRS and stuff like that.. but not a lot of people talked about rust proofing and clear bra protection.

I will be using the car daily and will be driving it during the winter time so I think these are the 2 things that I would be doing first if I was to purchase the FRS.

Anyone know Good places to get the car rust proof and clear bra ? I often heard people saying krown does a good job with rust proof, but I want the dealer style rust proof (dripless) anyone have ideas ? I am looking for services within GTA, it'll be great if it's within Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan area.

Let's share !
If you have yet to purchase it, I'm pretty sure you may get it when winter ends.

If you guys want to keep your rubbers and paint looking fresh, why not Opti Guard them. Rust proofing and clear bra'ing are also a vital part too.

And a friendly reminder to anyone who's planning to do rust proof before the winter. There's 4 rubber stopper (2 at each door). So that's absolutely no reason to drill holes for the rust proof job. And there's a few more at the engine bay and the trunk area. Remember to do the opti-coat and rust proof to protect the value of the car. Have a fun and safe drive BRZ/FRS!

Yes.

I did mine last week and it works great so far during this week of rain with cool temperature.

I guess it's almost time for winter tires. I have to do it for sure if the weather keeps below 7.

Have a fun & safe drive BRZ/FRS!
