Anti-degreaser? Wouldn't that equate to a lubricant/grease?

i have coilovers on and i have a noise on passenger rear that sounds like something is rattling in that corner., yet everything is torqued down correctly...

how bad is the pop or clicking... mine happens intermittently... and is quite annoying.
anyone have the sound recorded?

It's kind of hard to explain how bad the noise is, but it's pretty much how I explained in my first post:
Quote:
- Sounds like a plastic bottle popping back into the original shape after it has pressed in.
- Noise comes from rear that sounds like clicking/tapping.
- With the rear seats down, the noise becomes sharper that sounds more like popping/ticking.
- It happens regardless of the vehicle speed.
- It happens even on a smooth road.
- It starts after some miles are put on. As early as 600 miles and as late as 3500 miles. Mine started after 1k miles.
- You will not notice the noise if you always have the radio on.
- It happens as often as 10 times in 1/4 mile, but sometimes as seldom as once every 5 minutes.
What I can say for yours is, it's not a rattling sound and I wouldn't be able to tell if it's coming from the left or the right. The source of the noise is on the left and/or on the right as shown in the picture on the first post, but the noise probably is transferring to the whole deck and it actually sounds like is coming from the middle of the deck. So, just from your description, I would guess that you have different problem.

Great news to hear that there should be a TSB out soon.

I went to the dealer for an oil change, and mentioned this issue (as well as others). The tech replicated the noise and re-insulated the rear deck. It helped quite a bit, but I can still hear it.

At this point it seems pointless to go to the dealer without having an actual TSB from Toyota/Subaru.

I'm not sure which picture you're talking about, but both pictures should be there.

Good to hear. I sprayed so much until it started to drip on the floor mat. It was smelly for a few days, but the smell did go away.
