Thanks for the detailed reply @FA20Club.com

Let me know if you want to take me up on the dyno comparison offer. I think it'd be beneficial for everyone here to see a stock rom vs visconti vs fa20club vs perrin. The testing method could be outlined and agreed upon beforehand. Hell, I could probably even live-stream the testing.

someone already beat you to that test last month i believe. i would be interested but i have a few variations to my tune. It would have to be bone stock car in my opinion for it to be viable. any mods would require more optimization and getting all parties to do them on the same day would be tedious and time consuming. even when they have shootouts like that at sema all parties are constantly tinkering. so a set it and forget it approach is not practical at the end of it all.

A few of the early purchasers know this because i would send them updated maps without them even requesting anything from me. I have spent years tuning applications from road race to drag vehicles. There are only two things i do all day and thats weld and tune. Most of you say our service is great. I strive for that. I answer emails all day weekends midnight doesnt matter to me. You can shoot me question anytime and ill get back to you pretty fast.

I make all the effort I can to provide a balanced tune for everyone. We originally purchased the Auto specifically because it was the better of the two vehicles when it comes to R&D. When you think about it most options will carry over to the manual with the exception that the manual will yield a bit more power. When we built our turbo kit there were obvious differences on the transmission size that delegated we make adjustments. That was a prime example of why we went Auto initially. Our vehicle was purchased strictly for R&D we didnt ask a customer to loan us their car. WE tune , test and tune some more. My goal is to find the limits of every aspect of this car so the customer can benefit.

Visconti is a good guy i have nothing against him. But what you guys have to remember is that he was the only Suby based Master Tuner in the states when the Ecutek software was being beta tested so he was the original test pilot. No other vendors were allowed to purchase software at that time and he took the opportunity to get a head start on the rest of us. Once the software was released you can see there are more options out there now. Choose who you may to grab a tune from....but in the end grab a tune.....
for anyone wondering his customer service isn't self proclaimed. check out my review and you'll see what I'm talking about

p.s. the day I'm describing in my review was a sunday night.

MRT are about twice the price of the guys in the US.
I think you will find the warranty is only paid out after you provide proof their tune caused the failure. Just imagine that scenario?

Try to find another supplier of Ecutek in Oz that isn't affiliated to MRT and it might explain the cost here where they appear to have no competition.

Best to wait until they have a forum special.

Oh i know that, Brett the owner is a nice guy, but he does have the market wrapped up i guess. .
But now the ease of access to Visconti and FA20Club, it may make his job a little harder.

Ill be getting a tune in the next 6 months i would say (need a holiday first) will wait till then before i decide.

I agree and they get good results but the difference in price stinks.

Why would you come to that conclusion? Tuners don't have to change the cold engine tables.
