Fortunately I have no issues. I do know that it did take some time for my ecu to adjust. Having a cat back also helps.

Just figured Id check back in, several thousand miles later its still running great, still sounds great. Took a day trip up to Flagstaff/Sedona not too long ago and had to barrel down a gravel road, no issues except its a bit dirty now.

So with all this being said, Airaid hasnt really chimed in at all since this talk of defective products. I will say, I'm just learning all of this performance tuning stuff as I switched from a 08' Jeep JK. The thing that strikes me though is that most other Airaid intakes (Jeep JK included) without a doubt improve performance from what I have seen.

What i'm trying to say is, why would people speculate that it is a defective product if it wasnt true.

I will say, I am skeptical of this intake unless I can see some hard numbers.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, because im just learning and dont know much about reading Dyno graphs, but this doesnt show HP on the chart. Other Airaid products for performance cars shows a graph with HP on it.

ok, now im getting a bit annoyed. When i installed this i tightened the hell out of ALL of the screws. And it seems like every time i pop the hood to check the oil i find somthing missing. Wether its the screws for the heat shield, or velocity stack. Lucky they didnt end up in one of my tires. Its gotten to the point that i went to home depot and got all stainless steel phillps screws to replace the hex ones and havent had a problem since.
