Official AIRAID Intake System Feedback, Pictures Thread

The AIRAID Intake’s have begun shipping and I have created this thread for all the members to report back about the system as well as to post pictures of your FR-S / BRZ along with installed pictures of the Intake system.

The pictures will be important as well as I will also be creating a album on Facebook to show off all of these excellent looking FR-S / BRZ car’s.

Thanks,
David

I decided to leave the resonator tube, and....I wasn't really able to roll around seeing as how I had a couple of these :DAttachment 13172
Just from revving in the garage sounds great, can't wait to take her out tomorrow

I just finished my install, but I took out the sound tube. Haven't driven but I will tomorrow.
I'll give u my impressions then :). Doing everything myself took me like 3 hours. Should've been less. But I struggled removing the tube behind the bumper but dammit I did it.

It seems like its very restricting, since I was already doing the install figured why not. I also took out the sound tube. It's probably easier to just remove the bumper. I struggled taking it out through the top. But I did it alone, so maybe that's why.

Loo, I just finished taking it off. Took. Me like 10 minutes, I'll. Start her up in a sec to see if I can tell any difference. Oh, and I also. Deleted the sound tube afterwards:w00t:

I dunno either, I was pretty much like " f*** it " and just ripped it thought the top of the bumper:bonk:

Haha you know what, that's when I was to able to take it out. I was being really careful at first. Not until I snapped away from the headlights did it come out. So that makes sense. Did u install that metal piece back into where the sound tube connected

It's probably all in my head, but it feels much better at higher rpms! This thing screams :)

When I woke up today, I took the time in taking out the resonator tube and air duct to the oem air box.
