I'm on Nassau County, Seaford.

I know you can find the twisty roads near Riverhead but even then your limited by speed due to other cars.

do you guys plan on carrying/developing forged pistons with higher compression ratios? i feel like 9.5/1 on an fa20 is a little low for the daily driving characteristics i want. i would love a forged piston that has near stock compression.

The only reason you would want that high compression to remain is if you want to stay n/a, and that doesn't make sense because you wont make enough power to need forged pistons with this motor n/a. Or if you want to run e85 or race gas constantly if you go boost.

i have to disagree with you. there are many reasons to go with higher compression pistons. look at all the power these motors are putting down with stock compression. higher compression means more power off boost and a different hp/tq curve. i understand that lowering compression can allow for more boost and a great top end.. but i don't think everyone is going to be pushing the limits of this block. a higher compression forged piston replacement would be ideal for someone looking to make around 400whp with great daily driving character/off boost power. thats exactly what i will be looking to do.

Valid points, however we dont know the limits of the stock internals yet, this engine may be able to handle 400rwhp and you wont even have to touch it. High compression will make it less sluggish down low yes but how many people are gonna wanna run e85 24/7 to run high enough boost to make 400 wheel on stock compression. Too early to tell how these modifications will be applicable
