I do some modeling and prototyping. Mostly for fun, sometimes for pay. My first project is probably going to be an iPhone case that integrates my key fob, and holds a credit card and my ID. My goal is to only have one thing to grab when I leave the house.

Went to a surplus store to buy some dress shoes made in Canada by a Canadian company that does rodeo and biker boots:
![]() ...and impulse bought a Ka-Bar: ![]() Because USA made and 1095 high carbon steel. (Sheathe is hecho in Mexico.) So I hit all of NAFTA in my consumerism today. Yay!

It was really great. For us, being from California, it's a low stress cruise, since there isn't a big need to explore everything and do a bunch of stuff. Just jump off the boat and cruise around in a relaxed manner. No stress at all. Still went ZipLining in Catalina though.
For the Cal Coastal, they run: Departs Long Beach San Francisco Santa Barbara Catalina Island San Diego Ensenada. But if you're located on the East Coast, there are some great deals over the next few months on East Coast Coastal Cruises and Carribean Cruises. In December there are week long Carribean cruises for as low as $500.
