Lol /o/. What a place.

I think both are nice. But I prefer Japanese muscle cars anyway...

Yo the 86 is clearly the best car in the world ever in the history of everything.

The new V6 mustang is the best one yet. Its quite impressive in its own right, it can take the corners pretty well which surprised me. Also, the V6 mustang isn't a muscle car in this case, its a rental car. A very nice rental car. It doesn't have the brute force that a muscle car is post to have, nor the stance, character, sound, burn outs...etc etc. The GT mustang is a muscle car, there are very few cars in the world that can have less then 8 cylinders that can be called a muscle car.
A lot better then the RS Camaro for sure...

I don't even know why people want to get worked up on comparing these two cars, they're in totally different categories. I don't think Tada-san was aiming to compete with a mustang at all during his design and development.

Camaro? Challenger? Yes. These two cars were developed to compete with the Mustang. I'm sure if Toyota wanted to build a car to compete with the Mustang, they would have given it way more power and size; but everyone forgets that this car was built on a different ideology.

Agreed. Two very different types of car, two very different design philosophies. I actually like both cars for what they are. The 86 fits my style better, so I own one. I have no ill will towards Mustang drivers or their cars.

Chief Tada and the design team took a look at all the big-tired, turbocharged/V6/V8 high HP sports cars out there and basically made the donotwant.jpg face. They made something different.

The 2010 GT has the same power as a 2011 V6. To think the 2011 V6 is less of a muscle car because it only has 6 pistons instead of 8 would be a bad mistake.
My 2011 V6 can burnout just as much as a GT, with my Roush exhaust sounds just as mean, and for stance? It's the same exact car on the outside minus the 5.0 badges.

True but..
V6 muscle car doesn't sound right, even if its fast. Sorry but that's how i view muscle cars.
Also, why does the GT for 2010 do 0-60 in 5.0 seconds when the V6 does it in 5.3?

Like a four cylinder supercar...just doesn't sound right.

Uh oh, conflicting views!

Are you tired of people asking if it's a V8?

That's the shitty thing about owning a car of a lower trim. I had a WRX and people asked me if it was a STI. It sounds like all of a sudden they aren't much interested in what you have to say.

If there's ever a sti/turbo 86, I'll have to face that stupid question all over again

Probably because the V8 has 45 ft-lbs more torque than the V6.
