You talking to me?

I love the one in the scion TC and the 2011 VW GTI.

"Yeah, maybe I wasn't as clear as I could be with that rumor statement of CD player. The speedometer and the whole cluster I think, is something you can approve though on this FT86. While I can't show you pics or describe in detail, it is oriented well for track and street, fits the character of the car well, and is very easy to read. That's all we ask for too!
The use of geo-locator devices, its something all car makers can use more of... It has much more accurate positioning with today's products, and with such accuracy, it can be applied to much more than just GPS navigation... We see many features using it in our smartphones, and many of that can apply to cars and more. "

Here is Moto's latest post! I wonder if it they did utilize the track map or some sort of data logging as well as the digital readout from the MKI dash?!?

Although i do like the outer shape of it, i have a feeling the airbag/horn casing is too big, its not as symmetrically exciting as say, a Type R steering wheel or like i said before a 3-spoke design, but yes i'll go with that outer shape.

HmmMMM...

So... I wonder how Subie is going to play out. Same guts as the FR-S and different interior? Or different.

I don't know but when I read OG FT86 concept it might not be that bad after all.

It actually looks better. Take the Original FT86 concept, and add a little more flavor from Scion project's FRS Concept, then smooth down the lines so that it's less tuner looking, and more OEM finesse. Retain the 2000GT C-Pillar, sharpen the tail. And that's how a final version will be.

Even if it's just to re-confirm that they aren't going to let bean counters screw it up, this is good news. The little things add up to give a solid indication that this will be a performance car, not just a sporty coupe.

Call me vain, but if I had ONE wish for this car, it would be to lower the roof line on the Mk II to the way it is on the FR-S. Such a small change makes such a huge difference.

Yea I actually really like the subie's look better according to the concepts shown in the other thread.

Although I'm just curious now. Same engine location. Just different chasis and interior?
