I put these rear spats on last friday, 90$ shipped, install uses oem holes already underneath, it looks very oem and i cant imagine my frs without them, i too refuse to pay 700 $ for a piece of plastic, so this is a cheap alternative..

I am not affiliated with koru in anyway, just extremely happy with the product.

I can email pics if you want to see it on my raven frs, i am too lazy to post pics here....

Looks like someone beat me to posting my own post!!!

Since there is absolutely no other alternative addon for the stock rear bumper the $700 was tough to swallow but in the end, I have no buyer's remorse, it finishes the rear of the car imo and if I had the option at the dealer to have it as an option for the same price i would have jumped on it.

I guess the other good thing about it being $700 will make it rather unique among the FR-S owners. Hell i rarely see it on the local BRZs out here.

Aren't those just the side pieces? Not an actual replacement to the plastic diffuser. And $700 is just insane for the OEM piece.

Yes they are just side pieces, but its another option to fill out the rear of the car and it ties in very nice with a regular frs bumper.

It looks like it's $600 now on the subaru website, but that's still a large chunk of change...looks really nice though. Always thought the back needed something more.

Or should you just buy the whole rear bumper.

That is on option for the brz, you could probably buy it from Subaru and it should be able to fit on there without any difficulty

I knew someone did it without taking the bumper off, I'm just curious how? Without the little marks inside the bumper for guidance what did you use to get the holes perfectly drilled?

The rear valence is held onto the rear bumper with stock clips and stock bolts along the middle portion as well (in addition to the drilled support).

First place the valence on using the stock clips and bolts (these are large and holds the valence in place quite securely). This lines it up perfectly.

Then drill the holes into the bumper using the holes on the valence for guidance. There are two holes that need to be drilled into the bumper which do NOT have guide holes that go all the way through the rear valence. This was the only tricky part.

What I did was place two tacky pieces of dynamat on the holes gently and pressed the valence into place. When I removed the valence, the tacky pieces stayed on the bumper guiding me to the position to drill the holes.
