sound quality? tone? loudness (too quiet, too loud)? rasp? drone?

Check out my sound clips here:

all are clips of the cat-back, no over pipe or front pipe.

thanks
I was at first too, due to @Sony 's sound recordings, the non resonated sounds more... free flowing if that makes any sense

maybe i might get this set up, post some pics and recordings, and let you know my feedback

almost have enough money saved up for it so it should be within a few weeks

I have the Op non catted FP and resonated Catback and its bomb. Sounds mean when it wakes up cold start and after it warms up its idles quietly. When you punch it, it sounds like how boxer motor should sound. Can't wait for tune

Would definitely like to hear a test pipe w/ Perrin resonated set up if you can do a decent recording. That is what I am leaning towards but I don't want it too loud or any drone at normal cruising speeds...have had loud exhausts before and want this one to be fairly take until I get on it.

I'm looking to go with a catted front pipe and resonated cat-back, but I might do a header as well. The resonated catback with stock front and midpipe is too quiet, IMO, but I think the unresonated catback sounds too tinny/obnoxious, so just gotta do the whole thing.

I have to use my cousin's go pro when I get the chance.

The sound is just right for me. Quiet when it need to be and loud when I want it to be.

As for rattles, rasps and drones; none. Beside the flexing of the resonator pipe touching the chassis (which I fixed).

Plus the customer service from Perrin is top notch.

I installed mine and do not have any clearance problems, mine sits about 3/4 of an inch away from the tunnel wall. Really it depends on how the front-pipe was adjusted at the factory. You can readjust it yourself if you have issues.

Good to hear. I'm planning on getting the Perrin headerback (resonated), but the clearance issues were worrying me. I'll probably still wait a couple more weeks just to see how things go with the few members having issues.

You'll have to look in the members' rides section because I forget who has one but he posted sound clips of inside and outside the car and I gotta say I didn't like it one bit. I have a big loud stupid exhaust on my MR2 and I hate it; some people like that noise but I've grown tired of not being able to hear my music or hold conversations with people.

I just replaced my muffler delete with a Perrin resonated catback yesterday. There were no interference issues nor do I think there will be any though I do need to go back and realign the tips this weekend as the driver's side is a bit out "out" than the passenger side. Also, its silly quiet, too quiet as its nearly OEM quiet. So much so I ordered a midpipe today ahead of schedule. If you only are planning to do a catback, do not get the resonator IMO.

Is it at least noticable when you hit the throttle? I don't want a loud exhaust, but I do want something I can hear when I decide to go WOT.
