I wasn't saying the Recaro was more "FR-S-like" than the Bride, I was showing another style of the Recaro that more closely-matched the FR-S's interior. Make sense?

The stock driver's seat weighs in at 20 kilograms. The Reims Edition Stradia II is 15.6 kg, whereas the carbon-fiber Stradia II is only 12 kg. But the prices on both of them are near enough the same as to make no difference: ¥157,500 MSRP for Reims, ¥165,900 for carbon-fiber... or about $2,000, after yen conversion, shipping, customs duties, etc...

Are you 100% sure? The side area that connects to the rails look different. The bolsters look different as well but that might be due to the picture angle

TRD ![]() another... ![]() Standard Stradia II ![]() Stradia II Reims ![]() We won't know with 100% certainty that they're the same till they're released, and somebody gets some stateside, but I'm certain enough of the fact that I ordered a Bride Stradia II in black carbon fiber and a TRD seat rail w/ airbag canceler. Once they get here (probably later next month) I'll let you guys know for sure if it all works together. Guinea Pig powers... activate!

But I also had Bride buckets in my old FD3S, and LOVED them. Figure for the cost of upgrading I'm getting increased comfort, good looks (especially with the carbon-fiber shell), lighter weight, and better track-day holding. Sadly have to give up side-airbags for it, but oh well... |

Awesome research TuxedoCartman! I really do hope the Stradia and Gias can bolt up to the TRD seat rail since it comes with the air bag canceller. I like the fact the Stradia and Gias has so many options and they even have a cheaper "sport" variant.
