I'm glad you asked that, and I'm sure Dave (D3) is going to be happy to answer it. I'll give you a hint; stock is junk

Looks great in the engine bay! Love the quality of the parts. Guessing that it won't be cheap though.

Any idea what engine management they'll be selling with the kit? Same as installed here or would an ECUtek work?

Pretty crazy how many locations people have mounted turbos on these cars so far...front of the engine on top, front pf the engine on the bottom, behind the engine near the tranny, back of the car and now behind the engine on top.

One more question, if this kit is still kinda developing, would you be able to incorporate a V-band flange instead of the T-3?? that would be pretty darn awesome!

Well done.
We didn't want the turbo down low to run a scavenge pump as well have always had failures with them and there just a PITA. We looked into having a turbo in the front but we aren't a fan of having a turbo hot side next to the charge pipe, not knocking anyone elses kits, just not our cup of tea. So we were left with one more area, and we always liked the rotated mount kits on the subbys.

We are running the simple Pro48 box at this time, it dosent support the oem crank pickups so we made our own trigger setup, we are controlling the port injectors, ignition coils DBW and boost controller with it. We also use oil pressure and fuel pressure sensors. If the fuel pressure drops a within a set limit it will correct the AF, if it drops past that it will turn the engine completely off as a safety precaution. It uses the oil pressure sensor the same way except once it hits a pressure drop we set, it just shuts the car off to save the engine, it dosent do anything past that. This is something you will never get with the stock ecu.It also has full time closed loop control via a wideband, and has the capability's of adding a flex fuel sensor which will allow you to pump 93 or ethanol any blend together at any mixture and it will automatically change AF/timing and boost based on this. The new Pro 112 box will be released soon and will work with the oem pickups and we will have a plug and play for this. That box will also have true traction control capability's which will monitor abs sensors and when it spins past the set limit will pull ignition timing to regain control of traction, this is how they control traction on pro drag cars. We will keep the community up to date with info as it comes out.

What turbo? 55/58? 58/58?
Thanks, means a lot from you guys, as for turbo size we aren't releasing it yet, but it is smaller then those you listed.

No, the factory braces do not clear our turbo, however these are very poor design and cant compare to a true strut bar that bolts to the strut hats. The factory braces mount to tabs that only have 4 small spot welds. There are some struts bars on the market we haven't verified which ones clear, but if for some reason none do which I doubt it, we will release our own.

Thanks, as for pricing, we wont be a bare bottom cheap kit, but we are not out to take all of our customers money, we will be be competitively priced near other kits around our same quality tier, however we cannot match other kits on the market that have sub par quality.

As for tuning, we are planning on releasing the kits with EcuTek.

Unfortunately the v-band housings dont start untill the larger turbos, we are running a turbo capable of 500whp crank but will support 450whp to the wheels. If we develop a kit for the higher horsepower numbers we will most likely go to a v-band housing to make our lives easier on the fabrication side, but 90% of the customers out there will be around this power level, this allows fun racing without puking parts out and having too much down time.

I like the turbo placement and not having to run a scavenge pump is definitely a plus. Can't wait to see pricing and final numbers.

I'll be upgrading to the 112 once I can round up some more $$$$

Assuming it has more features than just traction control. Maybe it'll allow us to turn off the physical light that turns the CEL on?

Unfortunately the is no way to prevent check engine lights while taking over so many components from the stock ecu, the other unfortunate thing is Toyota has a bad habit of lighting up every other light when a check engine light comes on.

With that being said our kit will never be California CARB exempt and is for off road use only

I meant the actual light bulb itself, not the computer function that controls the light. Maybe there is a plug, or a fuse or something I can disconnect that will turn it off.

We can intercept the wire off the harness and have the proefi turn on a light for any indiction that we choose, for example with the cars we install the traction control on say the MK4 supra, you actually turn the trac on with the oem button, and the trac light will come on when its actually seeing wheel slip and correcting.
