If anyone is interested in a BRZ Limited 6MT white with 8700 miles shoot me a PM with an offer. I'm thinking of selling mine because I might be buying a house. I think shipping to CA would be about $1000.

If i were to buy a car from different state, can they register the car for california? Or do i need to register again in california?
Also is there any emission regulation that are different from california and arizona? In terms of mechanic and registeration purposes?

Some cars are slightly different, but nothing that would stop you from passing smog.

You wont register it till it gets to you in Cali.

When you buy a car from out of state they will ship it to you. If you want to go there and pick it up I'm not sure what they do honestly, sorry.

Just call up an out of state dealer and ask them. They are still open.

You can get plates without the car. You just need a bill of sale or certificate of origin and proof of insurance, at least that's how it is in Mass. You pay sales tax in the state you register the car in, not the state where it is sold (you pay the sales tax when you apply for the registration).

Did you look into buying out of state? I put money down on a frs but I like the more featured brz and was wondering what type of info you came up with.

Got mine for MSRP at Subaru San Bernardino. I was on their waiting list, and the guy who pre-ordered the car backed out.

Just got an e-mail from Kearny Mesa in San Diego. They will have a white BRZ Limited Manual at MSRP in about a week or two. Goes to whoever can put the deposit down first.
