Thinking about getting a TT-RS, thoughts?

Not selling the FR-S since its my track toy but i am thinking about trading in my truck for a TT-RS. I just love that little car, and the 5 cylinder sounds amazing. What are your thoughts about buying a TT-RS for DD. What other sporty luxury fun car should i consider for my fun DD needs?

They're awesome car... but maintenance on those sucker isn't cheap. Friend's fiance used to own on... but they need bigger car (baby), so they sold it and got S6.

Nice lil fun car, that for sure

Ive actually owned 4 audis and still currently own one and have had no major problems at all. To be honest i find them quite reliable if you take care of them properly. Even though you might not believe it but my FR-S has 3k miles of 90% track use and i have not had a single issue with it except a speaker grill popping out. :happy0180:

B5 S4 : 1 Turbo died at 35k miles but was replaced under warranty

B7 A4 3.2Q : No problems at all

B7 S4: Coil pack died, easily fixed.

B8 A4 2.0TQ: Left windshield washer nozzle failed.

I heard a chipped TT-RS will eat a V8 R8 for lunch and give the V10 a run for its money.

Just a joke.

I've always admired the TT but the main thing that has kept me away from them is reliability.

A $60K Audi TT is what the TT-RS is. At that price point, I'm buying a Cayman S.

I was just watching a review of it and there was mention of the 4WD system being front bias, not sending more than 50% of the power to the rear only under load... yuck
