This reminds me that when I do see a 2.5RS, I usually follow it or pull up next to it and ask the owner if they're selling their car anytime soon. I've had a few leads, but I'm waiting to hear back on one of them that is practically mint, all stock, and has 60K+ miles on it.

In MA, we're having a similar situation you guys got going on. I personally don't mind it if this passes, but I can see a lot more corruption to it if it does happen and I wouldn't stand for that part.

The 2.5RS coupes are rather rare. Finding one in great condition will be expensive and uncommon at best. They all have rust trouble spots at the rear fender and probably a blown headgasket if it hasn't been taken care of yet.

LOL so you're one of those guys huh? Yeah, when I got into a wreck and left my car at the shop, there were several guys leaving their phone # and leaving the offer price along too.

Yeah, I have/had both problems. I did overhaul my engine and replaced the gaskets due to gasket leak. I need to fix the driver side rear quarter panel due to rust too. passenger side was fix from the wreck lol

Looked for one for a few months, but the best I could do was ~$6k for a 160K mile chassis that had rod knock. Too much money...

Yeah, that's pretty high for that condition. I found few pre '98 coupe Impreza for $4k~$5k... but those sold quickly
