I'm tempted to drive down to work and see if i have an email but can wait 7 hours until i have to be there. I probably won't be able to sleep though just like Christmas Eve lol. I went ahead and updated ProECU so now i'm ready to go

Lol, I'm guessing people won't be getting tunes until tomorrow. From what I understand, John HATES flying, and will be using the trip to work on maps for everyone, and ship them out once he lands.

On a side note; I used my experience to write a DIY for ECU removal. I doubt this will ever happen again, but just in case..

Questions to all you experienced ECUTEK users about flashing my ECU once the new files are sent out. When the cable is plugged in and you have the rom file ready to flash, where does the ignition need to be set and what are the steps I need to do around starting the engine and idling after etc. I seem to remember a post about it but can't find it in this mess. John has all the steps for setting up the software and flash shown but I'm not clear on the other details.

On position with ignition off. Then flash. It'll take about 4 min. Then follow the instruction. It'll tell you to turn it off then on position again.

what Mach 330 said, but also, let your car idle for a few minutes after the flash to allow everything to sync up.

Also curious whether Meth injection + tune might be a good option down the road instead of E85?
