I ended up taking off the header with that crossover nub/flange, then tapped a divet into the sheared stud, and drilled that b*tch out. Took 2 hours, and nearly 6 bits. Efff you hardened steel!

I would have loved to cut this pipe section off, but I literally had everything take off except for that one tiny stud. So I stuck through and ended up with cleared hole for a nut and bolt and NO LEAKY EXHAUST!

BTW, I was surprised how easily the headers come off! Good luck to the rest of you! :happy0180:

That sounds like a pain. When I installed mine the hardest was taking the damn rubber mounts off.

What I did was i let my stock exhaust run a little.. to heat it up then blasted the bolts with WD40. worked like a charm.

Ok so I had my exhaust installed yesterday and OMG does it sound great! just amazing. The FRS sounded so weak before (unless it was over 6,000 rpm) and now it just sounds like it was meant to, all the way through the rev-band.

It only has about 100km on it so far, so I know it has a while to go until its broken in. Cold starts are quite loud and highway can have a little drone. Everyone has noted this goes away once the resonator is broken in. So I am not worried. Plus I can still hear my talk radio without having to turn it up loud, so that's great

I love this exhaust. Thanks Mo and everyone at Swift Racing Technology for your hard work and great products.

Lots of happy headerback owners, it sounds like.

Still no word on the catbacks whatsoever.

Catback won't be shipped until the Headbacks all go out is what I heard.

They got a lot of products and people on board so expect a delay however I would imange once they get the ball rolling on catbacks things will progress quickly since its only the back portion

Went down and picked up my catback today, I'll post pics tomorrow when it's daylight out. Dont worry, production for catbacks are in the works, Mo and his team are doing the best they can. It's just him and two others there at the moment and theyre going as fast as they can without compromising quality. The exhaust looks and sounds amazing. It's loud at lower rpms but as you accelerate it quiets a bit and at times at cruising hwy speeds almost seems as if there is no aftermarket exhaust lol until you get on it of course. No drone either. If I could describe the tone I would say that if gthaus put out a meisterschaft exhaust for our cars, this is what it would sound like. Very aggressive.

Well I can tell you that some of the first 20 still have not got their exhausts!
I hope that the original people that supported this, months and months ago get their exhausts first. This is starting to get very annoying.
