You should call up APR they will probably work with you.

It there to support the front section of splitter since it hangs so far out.

APR has been around for 15 years so trust them when they are working on my car. APR were the one who made the sideskirts and splitter.

I was thinking about buying the same splitter from APR. Do they tell you where to attach the rods or is it up to you? I've seen them attached in different places. I like the way you did yours.

It's up to you where you want to attach the rods I placed mine farther out.

Apr installed it for me and I had been running this spittler for one year with about 15k miles on the car. Also with a couple of track days and many oops with the crazy driveways. The rods are a necessity since with out it will start grazing the reflector on the floor pass 80.

its a little hard to tell from the pictures but is that bolted onto the lip or is it also held onto the chassis? (not including the rods of course). is it just held on by the rods and those 4 bolts?

There are two bolts in the rear that bolted to the chassis with some type of extension piece. I am not sure about the rest of it.

Looks great- is there a gap between the splitter and the area in the front ( under the radiator?)

I have a 5AD kit and the sides are lower, so I'm wondering if a gap would cause hinky areodynamics
