I realized this. Right now I am somewhat tucking tire but not really. I can always lower it a bit more. If this setup would work and not look awkward then I'd totally be for it but I want to confirm this with you guys that have more knowledge on the subject first. Right not it looks like majority of people are saying don't go for it

I'm no expert but have done a lot of research, you could get the 9.75's to fit but I still don't like that width on the stock tire at all. Pm me when u get ready to order and I'll double check everything.

15 Years of working for Discount Tire Co. I used to use a Cheetah to mount 5.20 13 tires on 13x7 wheels. As a professional I say you're on crack or sniffing crack.
Even a 9 inch wheel is pushing safety boundaries, I'd do it with a +30et and this is why by the numbers. Factory wheel is 7 inches wide with a +52et. 25.4 mm equal one inch, a +52 et means the factory wheel is Two inches toward the strut from the centerline of the wheel. On a 7 inch wheel the center line is 3 inches. 3+2 = 5. So we know that 5 inches of 9 inch wheel will fit toward the strut from the mounting surface. That leaves 4 inches from the center line ie... the mounting surface toward the fender. I have measured 6 1/2 inches with the wheel off from the mounting pad and a yard stick straight down from the inner lip of the front fender. I have measured 8 1/4 inches in the rear same way, but for there is not as much room in the rear toward the strut. So I take it you want a square set up for rotations. So 9 is the biggest wheel I can recommend on the factory tire. For every 1/2 you increase the width the tire shrinks in diameter 1/4 inch. So your factory tire would go from 24.62 diameter to 23.42 on a 9 inch wheel @ 65 you would be going 61. You would be putting more mileage on your car than you were actually driving also. I would do the 9 like Darren did with a +30et with a 3mm spacer. 30mm-3mm = +27et

The factory wheel is +48 but i agree with everything else there. I think the 8.25's would be ok i didn't see the S2k or WRX pics earlier at work i didn't know you wanted it that aggressive though.
