Not sure what you mean yomchi.
I can only assume you're talking about Mono-block amplifiers connected to a sub. Mono-block amps are single channel amps. In the car audio world they are commonly designed and used to drive sub-woofers as low frequencies require high power. Work out a budget you can afford and research what the best regarded products are in your price range. If you don't have enough money to afford what you want initially, build it up over time. Start with some good 2 or 3 ways speakers and an amp. Then save for a sub-woofer and amp to drive the sub. |

The "best" would be these: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...?itemid=112876
But again. If I were you, I'd listen to the sub before buying it. Best for others may not be best for you. |

sorry but those wouldn't fit in our boot, I'm pretty sure you would need a ported box to get the most potential out of that sub and that would take up the whole boot haha |

There are hundreds of brands out there, what kind of budget do you have? Keep in mind you need to also have an amp powerfull enough to run whatever sub you get, so there is that added expense.

The Pre-fab box's are not too bad for a basic upgrade, the powered ones are nice and easy to install and wire up..
also, have a look here at what a "budget" install will get you http://www.fhrxstudios.com.au/photogallery_bad.asp

In my old car I had Jaycar Response amps running 2 response subs. Sounded amazing for the price. Not sure how the new response amps are though.

Can someone please tell me if a 12" sub in a generic enclosure will fit in the boot?
Or does anyone know the maximum height of the boot? |
