Help Me Get This Stuff OFF!!!
Hey all. I have some pine sap and some pollen on my car I can't seem to get rid of. Tried some goo gone with a mf towel but it didn't take it off. The Sap is a hard white crust. The pollen leaves light yellow spots all over.
Any advice would be appreciated. |

Mineral spirits or wd40.
Most auto parts stores carry a product called prep all by Kleen-strip in the paint section. It won't harm paint/clear but removes a lot of oil based contaminants. Best and most effective for pine sap is likely mineral spirits. You'll need to re-apply wax when you're done. |

Let the car sit in the sun to heat up or use a hair dryer to heat up the sap and soften it. Rub with a soft terry cloth towel and some isopropyl alcohol. It will take some elbow grease - it probably isn't just going to wipe off. Re-wax afterwards.
