At first I really feel for you and was getting mad at the vendor also. Then I see the post where you snaps at our fellow members here for giving their opinion. Not cool. Really not cool.

So, thought FINALLY my patience was paying off, and I was FINALLY getting my wheels today, just two days shy of four months exactly.

See, what I ordered... and paid nearly $3k for in advance... were 17x7.5 +43 GOLD CE28N's. What arrived today were 17x7.5 +33 BRONZE CE28N's. So not only are they the wrong color, but the offset is off by so much I don't even think they'd fit!

So when I called VIVID RACING up to complain (that's "Vivid Racing", as in "Vivid Racing LIED about the expected arrival date of these wheels FOUR TIMES just to get my sale, then bungled the order anyway"), the guy seemed wholly disinterested. Told me to call back tomorrow when his boss was there. THEN I got a call back from him two minutes later, telling me, "Uhh... I just checked, and +33 is as low of an offset as you can get on those wheels." No shit. So not only was he not f#@%ing listening when I told him the offset I ordered, but he was THEN trying to imply that I should just keep these wheels.

Oh HELL no!!!

I'm hoping to god that my order got put in correctly, and somewhere around the warehouse at either Vivid or Mackin my gold CE28N's are hanging out, and they just sent me the wrong box. Because if they actually ordered the wrong wheel to start with, and I have to wait ANOTHER three-to-nine months to get my wheels, on top of the four I've already waited? ...words cannot describe my anger. No, really, I'm pretty sure it's against forum rules and perhaps federal law to describe what state I'll be in.

Get a lawyer, sue him for goods not delivered. Most time you can get a lawyer to do a letter first before you jump in completely that route. So, lawyer up and tell them you want your money back now. Not tomorrow. Good luck

I'm sorry, when did this car forum turn into the My Little Pony tea-party circle-jerkathon? This thread started out as nothing more than a question about wait-times, but I decided to relate my experience with a particular vendor to help the community out. For whatever reason, a handful of overly opinionated "fellow members" felt that gave them license to comment on my choice in wheels. I informed them their opinions were neither needed nor warranted...

...wait, this sounds familiar. Oh yeah! I wrote this all just a few days ago. Go read that last post, and respond to that, then get back to me on how I am hurtin da whittle feelings of trolls.

Now, if anybody has anything else to add about Vivid Racing, or Volk Wheel delivery times (not size, not color, not offset... delivery time!), then please, please, please contribute! If instead you have a powerful urge to concern troll, then take a deep breath, walk away from your computer, and go do something on your own car, and otherwise mind your own business.

(Seriously, with all the racist, sexist, homophobic crap on this forum, not to mention the million threads being overtly hostile towards car owners with different tastes... how the #&!% did I get called out for being offensive?! Starting to feel like I'm in Bizarro world.)

Now, back on topic....

Shipping labels for returning the wheels FINALLY arrived today. Hopefully I will not have to harass them for the refund check. We'll see.... Also ordered my correct wheels from a place in Japan, and they're saying it should be late February/ early March when they ship.
