Damn, such an impressive build. All those oem parts are awesome. If you don't mind me asking, how much did the front window set you back?

Yeah a lot of glass from Japan has the sticker.

Yeah I know.

Thanks! Front glass was about $500 from what I can recall, but I'm not entirely sure.

What kind of car are you thinking of? If it were me, at this point I would try to find something a bit newer, perhaps early 90's, so that you can still get parts for it.

Thank you, I enjoy that what I've done for myself inspires others. I don't ever plan on getting rid of it. Something pretty crazy would have to happen for me to even consider it.

There are some cases where there are some performance parts and so on that are better, but in general I am an OEM man.

Wow, very nice man! Definitely keep this thread updated!

My aunt used to own an 87 red GT-S coupe back in the early 90's. No pic of me with her and the car though...and she sold it way before I could get my hands on it, lol.

Hell-to-the-motherf**kin'-YEAH! I love this build!

I did exactly what you did, got a job in Toyota parts so I could get the hook-up restoring my MR2. I'm jealous that you could get the original windshield and replacement quarter panels though. There was one OEM windshield available when I worked at Toyota but it was like $900+ and in Los Angeles. The sheetmetal stuff is no longer available for the AW11. Some of the stuff is crazy expensive, like the flimsy C-pillar plastic trim which at my cost was about $400.

Excellent choice with the MAP/DLI 4AGZE! I initially swapped one in my AW11 but it was a dud, and I couldn't find another good one so I went 20v. You'll have more fun with the instant torque and smooth powerband of the GZE

Keep up the incredible work! Looking forward to updates!
