There's a right way and a wrong way to express your troubles and concern on a public forum.

Being loud, obnoxious, rude, and just an all around dink... makes you look just like that.

Was I loud and obnoxious when AIRAID's intake ran like crap on my car? No. How about when they denied the problem existed and tried to blame it on other vendors? Still no. Instead I was cordial and even proactive in trying to find a community resolution. I could have easily started an "AIRAID SUCKS" thread or post. But I didn't. Hell, I was even fair to them in my review of their product compared against the aFe.

Shit happens...beyond you or @Visconti's control. He has the responsibility of taking the heat and answering to customers. I can personally attest to John's dedication to his customers. I've seen it with my own two eyes, in person. Hell, I took him to the post office to mail out some cables while we were working on my tune. I'd bet you any amount of money that there are more people happy with his tune and service than people demanding refunds.

Take a step back, think about the message you're trying to say as well as the message you're ACTUALLY saying. Realize that John doesn't make the cables. He's not sitting on a pile of 100 cables and withholding them from his customers. He's at the mercy of supply and demand. Right now, there is a lot more demand than supply.

While not refunding money for a product someone hasn't even received yet seems spiteful at best, and honestly would keep me from buying from a vendor, there is a place for this crap and a way to carry yourself, even on the Internet.

Gmhooker, on most forums you probably would have been banned by this point, and it may happen on here, I would at least expect your posts to be deleted.

I just left visiting my frat brother (51)whose dying from ALS, had this for 5 years and may not make it till his daughters next birthday in May, and I just lost a frat brother to a stroke (51) who was healthy as the day is long. I said lets Stop the all my children Sh** and lets get back to the car stuff and got my post deleted by the moderators and caught an infraction but this gmooker dude can use foul language, call people names and use obscenities and his posts are untouched. While i dont care i just found that a little weird..

I can understand wanting your money back if you don't want his flashes and already have the cable, it's not like you are going to want his updates or anything in the future. If it was me i would issue the refund and dissolve the relationship i think that's the only fair way to do it.

Swear to God. Im in my head im like okay my bad they are cleaning the thread up and i understand. i go back and his stuff is still there. They considered it disrespectful and insulting but i didnt even direct it to anyone i was just telling people to cut the drama and keep this thread about the car stuff.
