Hey Triangle people. Has anyone taken their BRZ in to get the chirping fixed via the new TSB? I called both Leith and Performance and was treated like a moron. The secretary at Leith told me there were no recalls on the BRZ, and I tried my hardest to tell her it wasn't a recall, and even gave her the TSB number, but no luck. Performance was a little better, and the service manager assured me they had access to all the TSBs, but couldn't tell me over the phone if they have one for the crickets. I just don't want to go in for a service and be told there's nothing wrong, then have to go back later when everyone is up to date on TSBs.

Also, who was driving the blue BRZ at the corner of Glenwood and Brier Creek Parkway Wednesday night? That was me you honked at.

That was me that honked at you. I wanted to turn back around and say hi but couldn't do it (legally)

The official TSB is only currently for Scion for some reason idk why. So that's why they treated you that way. Give it sometime to transfer over to Subaru. Also you can try Southen States Subaru. They have been most helpful for me.

P.S. if you need any of the official TSB stuff I can get it for you. But only on Toyota side. But I used the scion TSB for tail light moisture to get mine coveted at Subaru.

i've seen two blue BRZs in the last week or so. one in wilmington and one in raleigh on 540.

i'm SO fuckin ready for mine to come in.... only been waiting 6 months now.

I'm working with Leith Toyota currently to get my FR-S in for the Chirps TSB. I'll suggest to them that they have their sister Subie dealership do it as well, and mention that someone was turned away due to lack of TSB on the Subie side.

If you see a Firestorm FR-S running around Greensboro, that'll be me! I just picked it up last Friday from a dealership in Maryland. Any of you NC owners having meets or anything?

I was in the cars & coffee in Cary last saturday and someone in an FRS told me that he met with a couple of BRZ and hang around for a while.

I think there are at least ten FRS/BRZs by now in the triangle. A massive meet would be great.
