I prefer the design of the precision turbines to the higher trim GT T350 turbine. Seems a better match to the compressor size. Call me crazy, but I think a GTX3576r would be sick.

Both turbos are awesome, can't go wrong with either.
For a street kit I think the gtx3582r would suffice.

We've use both precision and garrett turbos with great success. We chose to go the garrett route on this project because we use them in our GTR builds and love the way they respond.

The goal with this car wasn't to see if we can make the most power. It was to build a kit that can be slightly altered for all types of driving/racing.

Great results Full blown!!

Will you continue to test this kit and see how long it survives?

The real question is how much power can be sustained long term.

This however confirms running 300 - 350 hp would be ideal for daily/ track use and should be enough to blow some of other cars.

nice one

Congrats on the power.

If you where choosing a motor for mountain and twisty roads and maybe circuit work, which setup would you use. These setups seem more for drag and high speed run.

Good job on the setup.

To be very honest, the gt35r will be laggy on this motor, as mentioned the power will be uptop but laggy down low.

I would stick with the gtx2871 which will turn 86 into a response machine

Track times can vary so much they are even less reliable then dyno numbers. There's three tracks within a four hour drive of me. The same car, same driver, same setup and similar weather will yield about .70 second difference from the fastest to the slowest track.

Different drivers, different suspension setups, different tracks and different weather could easily add up to give a full second difference.

Also, Don has been very tight lipped about the setup of his car so even if they did bother to go to the same tack on the same day they still wouldn't know if the comparison was apples to apples or not.

These threads are about making power, and these guys are now making the most.
