Subaru never made 'V' configured engines? Help me.

On the other hand, I would like the 2.0L NA. A 2.0L turbo is cool and a little extra something but really isn't necessary.

H6 is nice and all... but currently Toyota nor Subaru have enough tech to kick German's H6... so I prefer 2L NA H4. 2L Turbo? Blah we already have that left & right.

Not enough tech? I think Japanese companies have the tech, they just care more about reliability and aren't as upmarket.

German H6 is more appealing than Subaru H6..

Sometimes i feel bad for Porsche owners though about the how retarded their maintenance is for the kind of car they own for the money. Iv seen just as many blown Porsche boxter engines as blown 13b turbo engines.

and sometimes..i just envy the kind of performance they offer.

if that's forced induction in the middle there, then color me impressed... and a little wet.

Do you guys think a hemi would go into this? Cause for some reason, there is a guy around me who keeps trying to move $500 hemis on craigslist. Why not, right?

I'd like to see a turbo 2.0L, but I'd be fine with a NA 2.0L. It's not like it can't be turbo'd later on.

Not really. EZ30 H6 engine & tranny was pretty much copy of Porsche H6 (down grade of Porsche ver).

But I do get what you're saying.

Depends on how much $$$ you're willing to spend. What engine gonna fit isn't the question. How much you have is the main question.

well i for one certainly hope that they grow the balls to take on porsche one day... as korea and india and china move into the car mfg market, japan will need to raise its game to survive

the work they've done on the ft86 so far has blown me away. it would be a pity if they didn't use it to promote their best technology and performance engineering

flat six me please sir!

A flat 6 sounds awesome, but I'll probably end up with a "Naturally Aspirated" engine with pixie dust or something.

I think that's air cooling, old Porsches were air cooled and I think some are partially air cooled still. Or so I remember.

Really depends on weight for me; I'd give up a linear powerband for 50kg. Although, with a turbo 2.0l, you will be rewarded with easier power upgrades...hmm
Tough choice

A turbo four would just make my day, but as far as I'm concerned as long as the car exists I'm happy.
