FT-86 vote for you engine layout 2.0L NA vs 2.0L Turbo vs 6 banger

Okay time for another poll.
2.0L NA vs Turbo with 6 banger option for those who want a completely different car that doesn't resemble the "86" in anyway. And a 2.5L option for the people who like 4 bangers with some torque. Note a big 6 banger would not likely be an option so I went and suggested that it be less than 3.0L but it is optional. And a 2.5L would not rev as high as the 2.0L due to longer stroke, just a fact of life for Subaru boxers.

This is just for fun, but highly relevant to this forum. Your votes will be seen because it matters.

Imagine only Subaru engines to BTW. No point in starting another Toyota engine thread.

I prefer dual hamsters, but would settle for a flat 6.

The 6 would be sweet but I voted NA 2.0L since that is what they plan to go with.

Noooo! He said "prefer". I'm assuming it will be the 2.0.. but I'm still holding out hope for a surprise 2.5 or something (not gonna say turbo because it will become another one of those threads... well I guess I just did - oops)

Im gona go with a 2.0 N/A although seeing a 2.0 turbo would be cool. A flat turbo 6 would be something id like to see in a supra revival. :3

I'd like to see the 2.0L NA engine in there. I like all motor madness, the way it drives and the way it sounds, to me is better than any Turbo can offer. There is a particular place for Turbo's for me and it's not in this car.

Ferrari?

I would be alllll about an NA flat 6 if it could maintain a good weight balance. I tried finding weight specs on the FB20 vs EZ36 to no avail.

W16 all the way. if your gonna try to boost power, may as well go straight bugatti

But for reals, given the choice, id take a 3.0 flat 6 turboover the 2.5 4 anyday. Torque is more fun than power in most sitiations

I would probably go with a low-pressure turbo like VW puts in the GTI. That engine makes torque everywhere with almost no lag, and it sounds fantastic unlike a lot of other turbocharged engines which sound like vacuum cleaners. The cherry on the cake? It'd likely be a lot lighter than a small 6.
