Because im not sure about you, but most people get used to how fast a car is and want more. IMO scalability and growth in a kit is just as important as the initial setup.
Why not go and get any of the other kits that are at 400+ whp and call it a day?

Im not saying based off what I am going to buy or what other people should do. Simply saying its a smart move. Then again if AVO wants to make the best kit for the people who want to double their hp and leave it at that, then that works too. They are the experts not us.

Some of us don't want to drop $6k on a kit right now and run e85. Spending $4k is a bit easier to swallow as long as we have the option of upgrading.

Im honestly very happy with the current numbers. However, I wouldnt mind a bit more out of the base kit (250-280whp), and maybe being able to upgrade to ~350whp later down the line if the need arises.

Im loving the power delivery of it. They mentioned on facebook that they have maxed out the MAF sensor though @5psi. I wonder if thats where theyre going to leave the regular kit, or if they are going to include a new MAF sensor in the kit.

MAF sensor is be good for more than 250whp / 5psi on pump.

Strange.

That is an excellent dyno plot, well done! It amazing what can be achieved with a bit of R&D.

Directed to AVO and others who are serious about this kit. What are you considering for an oil cooler kit?

The Greddy kit mounts onto the bar that is now where the intercooler to TB pipe is. I wouldn't be surprised if this pipe could be pulled back and the oil cooler put in front of it, but this isn't ideal, and neither is having a large pipe behind the cooler, that would block air flow.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a dig at the turbo kit design. I would much rather it be designed the way that it has, and and oil cooler solution be an after thought. But I think enough pictures have been released now that we have reached the point of considering the oil cooler location.

Thats what I thought. Weren't the other kits that were running 8psi doing so on the stock sensor?
