Copying is the sincerest form of flattery...

I think the FRS/BRZ has a new cousin, or maybe a Sister? What about a twin?

Still don't like the hood, and what's with that rear window? Breaks up the lines too much, otherwise nice looking car, cause it looks like ours! I like how the bumper is 90% the same shape.

Copy? Genesis was released before the FRS/86/BRZ
It also had that ridiculous bumper mustache far before the BRZ.

Not defending hyungay but...
By your logic FRS/BRZ really "flatters" Maserati.

I was just about to say the same thing. As a current Genesis Coupe owner and a soon-to-be BRZ owner, I can say the Genesis has had this design waaaaay before the BRZ. Should be a the other way around. However, I think the bumper mustache fits the BRZ much better compared to the Genesis.

To be fair the FT86 design was mostly final and publicized before the 2013 Genesis design was unveiled.

Hyundai/Kia notoriously rips off other car designs. It dates all the way back to the Rio ripping off Subaru styling with that ridiculous "sport" version with the hood scoop and spoiler on it.

The Forte was a horrible stab at the Civic. We don't even need to get into the other designs they have copied.

Now, back to this comparison, the plagiarism is much less obvious than previous style crimes. If you actually sit the cars side by side in real life they aren't so similar anymore.

I don't mind the design, but 390 hp opened my eyes a bit. I still give the BRZ the nod over the Genesis's design though.

I like that look. I almost got a 2.0T R-Spec 2013 model before I saw the twins.
