why do people always talk about grip and drifting like they are mutually exclusive? or act as if terms like quick and fast odnt have the same meaning? its a sports car. its for sport.

Ummm... Designed to bring sport, enthusiasm, and passion back to the car and its driver?

That can mean for its owner to use it for track days, or simply to have a fun car to drive everyday... It can be a versatile tool for whichever goal the driver has in mind.

What's the point of this car?

Dunno.. For me, this car is an extension of my personality.

On the outside- pretty light, agile, refined, and lets be honest- just pretty damn hot.
On the inside- an explorer, trailer blazer, canyon craver, a philosopher with a wild, creative side. Seeks to find the meaning of life, constantly on the lookout for the next curve and ready to unleash the power of the 200 horsemen. When the last thread wears off the tire, he knows he's not done yet - he's just getting started. In the far corners of the mind, lurking the thought of the endless, open roads. That's what drives him.

Haha, just messing with ya'll. Might as well ask what's the point of anything in the universe..

Cool... Except the FR-S doesn't like to be on rails... It likes to slide a tad bit.

In a straight line it would be. But this car is for anything but a straight line.

Fast is MPH, Quick is Time.

Formula 1 cars are quick, but NASCAR Cup car is faster. A Ferrari 458 will be quicker around a road course than a Bugatti Veyron.

Even drag racing has both ET and speed.

In a straight-line speed contest, the Shelby will leave the Elise standing still. The Elise will take the Shelby in the twisties (or at autox) every time.

edit: just noticed which cars you drive. I should have said Miata instead of Elise :P
