Question... I looked at the laws here in NC and the only legal issue with this exhaust is the visual inspection. So now the question is, has anyone attempted to undo the heatshield for the mid-pipe catalytic converter, and wrap it around this exhaust? I figure if it is possible to do without looking gaudy then no one will suspect that the cat is gone.

The cat on the header still exists, you just lose the secondary cat which is quite small and does not have any sensors attached to it. Most people won't even KNOW it is gone because the larger one remains intact.

Just got mine installed. It sounds great from the outside (just like subaruwrxfan's) but it drones like crazy on the inside between 2-3.5k.

The shop that installed the exhaust mentioned how this system might have issues down the road due to the lack of a flexible region. Is anyone else concerned about this?

The stock exhaust doesn't have a flexible "region."

On a side note, it sounds amazing lol. No droning and its quite at highway speeds here in Hawaii.
Glad to hear! If I have any questions on the install, Ill ask you! Cheers!

It'll quiet down once you put some miles on it.

Is anyone planning on calling mo to see what the status is? I'm hoping they got it fixed and can start shipping them soon and hopefully the catback guys will get theirs soon too (don't see why they had to wait in the first place) so mo can get back to the intake r&d!!!

I just sent them an email asking about the header back system fitting an AT. Got this back.

Hi Joshua,
YES we have finally redesigned it as of today and it fits the auto trans vehicles.

That was today at 3:40 EST
