Nothing serious but serious enough to make me wanna punch people in the face who cant get their shit straight.
First one was when I was on the highway after leaving work during rush hour, out of nowhere there was a small tire about the size of a lawn mower and I couldnt dodge it due to a car next to me and no shoulder AND there was a car behind me tailgating, FML. So I took the hit, and very happy I am not lowered otherwise my bumper wouldve eaten that shit up. Second one it was nighttime and very dark on the road, I ran over two leftover tire debris that made a very loud "SLAP" noise and I was in pain! When I got to my house and looked at it my car was fine. Fortunately no exterior body damage yet, no dents or anything. The only thing I am still beating at myself is that after taking in my car to the dealership for oil change and they washed my car leaving a lot of swirl marks on the car, F**K YOU!! They probably saved my front bumper more than what you would know. I accumulated a few chips unprotected after just driving the car for two weeks!!! After getting the protector I can now finally practice using the slipstream by tailgating(Whilst keeping my distance of course) with less worry about getting dents. |

I heard the clear guard can rip off your clear coat when removing it and that it msut be replaced after a few years. I also will be parking it outside so I hope the sun doesnt cause it to leave residue behind.

Never heard of that one before but make sure you get top of the line and/or make sure that it is UV Protected(Meaning that it resists the sun). If it can resist sun, it shouldnt be leaving any residue behind.

Here's a good one. Had a friend back another friend's 2012 WRX STi into my brand new BRZ. New rear bumper is sitting in my garage awaiting paint and installation. At least I didn't do anything wrong....

If you park inside a garage and wash your car often, it will slow down the yellowing and degrading process but eventually with time it will still go bad. Many products advertise that their material won't "yellow" but I don't believe it... (Again, with time everything degrades... Just have to maintain it often to slow down its aging process)

My brother in law have a truck with the same clear bra materials that I use. He has it on his car for a good 4-5 years now and it still has not degrade at all, he even parks it outside 24/7 because he never use his garage. Couple weeks ago I checked it still looks like it was never there. Perhaps you should apply opti-coat on top of it for peace of mind, thats what im going to do.

See the BRZ VS TWO Deer thread, $10,500.00 to get it fixed, will be waiting up to two months on parts this thing is seriously expensive to repair.
