You can use the stock Eclipse Satnav i believe, there is a plug that go's into the back that has RCA's that come out of it.

Jump on the Eclipse website, look at the unit you have and it's install details and you will see the plug/cable i mean.

Is this for the 86 as well or only for the BRZ?

The BRZ for sure, but i believe the Satnav in the 86 is identical as Toyota use Eclipse units also.

There is very little information about the 86 satnav and whether or not it supports RCA at the back. This is probably because only Australia and a few other countries around the world have the Toyota Satnav as an option, i.e. not Scion.

If you want to wait about a month, I'm replacing the stock HU. I can let you know then.

The eclipse/fujitsu-ten unit in the aussie 86 GTS does not have that extra rca cable as an option unfortunately - I called them up and quoted the model number but no luck.

I just went with the line out converter option instead.

Item 6 is what i believe you need.

But you need to find out what unit you have, go to your glove box, pull out the manual, it will tell you.

once you get that, i can point you in the right direction if you can use the RCA.

I pulled out my GTS head unit. As you can see from the photo there are a few spare plugs on the back. I wonder if one of those cables is rca out, and if so how to source it.

I've got Focal BAM sound deadening throughout the doors, they don't rattle at all, and in the trunk, the rear deck doesn't make any noise for me just that brake light. Might take it out.

Does anyone know, if you remove the rear speakers... are you able to replace them with 6.5" subs? I know Kicker do them...
