If some tuner make a good single exhaust, I'm going for it Its a japanese car, its no euro/american muscle where it will need dual/quad exhaust (Thats one of many resones why I love the GD impreza over the current ones)
We haven't seen any 216a taillights yet, or even a concept from subaru. The prototype is a hacked up MK2 FT86..I dont believe that those are the taillights that will be in the final cut for either Toyota and Subaru..so no worries there

I myself haven't decided what i wanted to do with the exhaust. Duels look good in some cars, while others look like shit. Point taken about recent subarus going with duals factory..they look horrible, even in the aftermarket sector.

While other cars that sport dual exhaust look fantastic, IE GT-R and 370z. Especially in the aftermarket sector.

So far from what iv been seeing...FR-S/FT86 might look best with a single exhaust...but i might change my mind once the car hits dealers.

I saw the dual exhaust tips, and the first thing I thought was an aftermarket catback. I'd want 60mm, hopefully Apex'i Noir. Unless it's functional, think it's tacky. Makes sense for v-block engines, but on this? Not a big deal though, just means less weight compared to stock when going aftermarket.

But if dual exhaust tips are the biggest complaint that'd be a good thing =) Doesn't bug me too much.

The exhaust thing...

Foresee aftermarket companies making a rear bumper cover with one grove cut into it for the exhaust...my likely route. That + custom single-exit.

Put the single exhaust in the middle if balance is an issue then.

its not a balance issue, if it were the exhaust would just go to the lightest corner of the car. looks aside, a dual exhaust is just superfluous and adds weight and cost to a car you guys want light and cheap

Aesthetically, I prefer single over dual. I feel like duals on 4 bangers are over kill.
