A twin non-sequential turbo option like found in the Legacy GT-B and B4 with EJ20R/EJ206/EJ208 might benefit from a true dual setup. But i would not go any larger than a 2.0 pipe per each turbo, but i haven't had the luxury of working on one of those engines yet.

This would be on a full-race setup though. As for the single/dual, for me it will probably be single as I anticipate using a 4-1 merge collector or a 4-2-1 with super short secondary merge collector for my header design.

Normally I love dual exhausts but on a 2.0 liter car it's a waste of time. I'd rather see them on a high output V6/I6/F6/V8/V10/V12.

I prefere true dual exhausts from header. The engine is semetric, 2 cylinders on one side and 2 on the other, so one exhaust tipp on each side. Weight saving will be made thanks to titanium.

But levi even though there are two cylinders on each exhaust pulses aren't going to be even. The firing order would have to be either (FL,RL,FR,RR) or (FL,RR,FR,RL) or the mirror of those which always would result in both left cylinders firing after each other then both right cylinders. Now I could be wrong but wouldn't such an uneven exhaust pulse suck for scavenging and hurt performance.
What's up, I see more people are making it over from new newcelica.org And yeah, I definitely prefer the look of dual exits too. But they can become much more expensive compared to single exhausts.

Dual pipes from headers is overkill for this.. Like I said in countless threads before, a dual exit muffler with tips on either end of the car is what I want (what they have right now on the mule/camo)

Almost everyone wants this anyways, so I wouldn't worry about it changing.

And those who prefer single exits shouldn't worry too much as the aftermarket sector will most surely provide single exhausts.

Sorry for being late, I was so busy. But regarding the tail lights, ummm they look fine with me, specially for the 216A.
I know to each his own idea on how he want this car to be, but lets hope it will satisfy all of us ![]() Quote:
If some tuner make a good single exhaust, I'm going for it Its a japanese car, its no euro/american muscle where it will need dual/quad exhaust (Thats one of many resones why I love the GD impreza over the current ones)
