Hi John - thanks for all the hard work (again) and have you made much progress with the flex fuel as yet? Seems like lots of us are looking forward to this particular piece of your wizardry.

Not yet , still in the works

Still need to have the racerom code adjusted so e85 can be switched on the fly.

A lot of stuff got done this week, and hopefully next week will be as successful

John

Im running 93...if you look at 2forme dyno sheets on the other thread theres a dyno with stock intake stock flash vs st1 with stock intake(93) and theres a gain of 7-12lbs right in the middle and a 5-10hp gain right in the same region from 3200-5200 rpm and it feels great right in that area when your hitting it, even in 6th gear my car whips my head back when flooring in that area

Yeah just looking at the graphs I would consider the stage 1 93 tune worth it for the midrange gains. Most folks only compare the peak numbers and they aren't all that impressive but bang for the buck you can't do better than a tune for making it a faster car overall.

Is it possible to have one of the maps you switch to be the stock map?

No not possible.

I'm also pretty sure I figured something out that should give my pump gas tune a bigger top end gain.

That'll be Mondays dyno session

Yes i believe you can. And yea alot of ppl do pay attention to the max hp and tq but it really means nothing...the peak hp is at 7000-7100 around there and it wud suck if i had to rev that high 24/7 to feel power. a tune is made to benefit the whole power band making the car feel faster no matter how u drive thats where it counts loving the increase in the mid range power, but even up top theres a bit of an increase! Im sure with the proper headers and a nice over pipe this car will have a nice top end, and even better with a tune
