I wanted the WRB BRZ but couldn't find one anywhere, Whiteout was my second choice and the dealer 30 minutes away had one come in the day i called. I also like Asphalt but my last 3 cars were dark grey i needed a change. I wouldn't have considered the Red, Hot Lava, or Ultramarine but thats just me.

I truly like white cars and they are my favorite color. However I really have a strong dislike of the pearl white color so I got the firestorm.

And you told me that I should slow down, hence your ignorant condescension at assuming I speed and telling me not to speed as if you're better than me, though your whole post had hints of the latter.

Applies more to lidar, but by driving a white car (reflects the most amount of light), the lidar has maximum range of detection. Whereas, if you drive a black car, which absorbs most light, the detection range is reduced. So scientifically it is disadvantageous to drive a white car, but like the lovely poster from earlier said, more flashy colors will attract cop attention anyway.

And cops will usually be well within the maximum operating range, so even with decreased efficiency for black cars and other colored cars, speed will still be accurately determined. And they usually try to aim for the license plate anyway since that's most reflective.

so i wonder why the insurance rates are cheaper for neutral colored cars vs. the "flashy" colors if you are more prone to tickets in a white vehicle. simply because the brighter colors catch your eye more?
yeah! it's generally because the brighter colors (red is a prime example)
are more easily "seen" and "isolated"

this is true, but you are still a target in a "red" sports car!
you don't "blend" in a red car! you stand out,and in my previous post,i never
said you was speeding, again, a general statement was made to indicate ''slowing
down" would also help! you misconstrued what i was saying,i was speaking in general terms!
i cannot say to a certainty, but i suspect you might be well served by a visit to a ''distant shore!"

I never got a ticket, not even in this situation:

My completely anecdotal report validates that red is definitely the safest color.
