Here in the North west, It seems like Black, Gray, or blue are the colors that everyone wants.

I originally ordered a silver brz and thought "good, a new color for me and a rare color for the car."

Then after getting the runaround from subaru and turning to the fr-s I realized my favorite color was not only seemingly the most popular but this would be my second white car in a row.

But when I see that pearl in the sun I don't give a shit.

Dealerships around me ONLy had RED, I wanted White... I got RED.. I regretted not waiting for white... Love my car... wanted a different color.

I keep hearing about how popular white is (and seeing all the photos of white cars online), but out here in Las Vegas I've got the only Whiteout I've seen. Around here, it seems like it's all Asphalt and Firestorm.

I really don't see many white ones around here. I think I saw one at a cars and coffee and one at the dealer when I bought mine, but that's it. I haven't spotted any white ones out in the wild.

Here in central Ohio black seems to be the most common color. I wanted red but settled for black. The dealer I bought mine from has sold 4 black, one white, one blue, one red, and one silver. My brother in law is a salesman at the dealership. Black is so dang hard to keep clean!

Oh I also forgot to say the silver one has been at the dealer for a month now with the cam sprocket/ cam problem.

I originally wanted a white FR-S. Three problems though: all the white-out FR-S came with automatics; whiteout is an additional cost on the FR-S; there was a dealer mark up on the FR-S that it ~$30,000.

In the end, I got a DGM BRZ Premium with a manual transmission for $3000-$4000 less and it has more options :lol: Don't regret it one bit. In fact, I saw an Asphalt FR-S with an automatic at the dealership this past Saturday. They want over $30,000 for it :bonk:

Just for clarification, the white ones you found only had autos. There's no weird linking of trans and paint options that requires it.

The white one at my dealer was a 6 speed.

All the FR-Ss on the lots around here were silver, asphalt, or black.... So I ordered mine in Hot Lava.
