Forget the tail. The headlights have me worried.

^forget that. While I hate the headlights, they are at least tolerable. The taillights are inexcusably ugly.

Can someone do the prototype in a similar red of the FR-S? Might make an interesting comparison.

I wasnt sure if Toyota could produce something like the concepts tails until I saw this new Opal today. These look great and I hope Toyota comes up with something great like these.

If the tail-lights are indicative of what will be on the production version of the Subaru, I'll be buying aftermarket units with matte-black insides and LED bulbs.

As for the headlights, I'll probably remove them, crack them open, matte-black all the non-reflective parts, and put them back in. It gives a killer look to any headlight!

Note the difference....both are stock-units...one has been cracked open and blacked. The process is extremely simple. You simply remove the headlights, warm them in an oven for 10 min, and they pull apart. Then you tape off everything that needs to stay unobscured, spray, let it dry for a few hours, then put the headlight housing back together and warm it in the oven again to re-activate the adhesive.

+1 - you gonna do that for me, too?!

A few guys in Germany did something akin that with the kouki SW20 taillights and put some LED´s in it and glazed the orange corners to red!

great work!

a lot of people split the supra iv's headlights this way on US/Japanese cars to get rid of the yellowing of the plastic - UK supra's thankfully had glass headlights

I pray Toyota is going to do something to the tail lights.
The lines of the car are going to definatly still be there for production
I bet the hood will gain a couple more lines up the center and if not theres gana be some CF for me.
I hope the ground effects arent too expensive because they bring the car up a couple notches in the sporty department.
I love how this is all shaping together and i bet toyota wont disappoint when the production comes out this fall
