Although I get your point I would be surprised if the FR-S was faster than a testarossa around most circuits, weight difference is closer to 700lbs and power output is almost double for the Ferrari.

The Testarossa is strictly a weekend fun car though and cannot compete with the 86/FR-S/BRZ as a DD on a whole range of measures, maintenance, practicality, useability etc etc.........you can't really compare the 2, as fun an exercise as it may be.

As far as I'm concerned the FR-S is an exotic. Some might consider it a knock-off but no matter how you look at it, the price makes it the most attractive automobile purchase there is.

I was referring to used Ferraris. Not current 1/2 million dollar cars
